Simon's parting words to Renaldo Lapuz are proving prophetic. "I Am Your Brother" is not only getting prime coverage across the networks, people have already publishing their own cover versions.

The best one I've heard thus far is from Alina.

Thanks Spanky for spreading the news. =)

Renaldo Lapuz is the Fil-AM equivalent to William Hung. =)
He did one better and sang his original composition dressed as Liberace. His performance got about 10 mins of airtime at AI and spawned countless covers and remixes.
The former tricycle driver has come a long way from Sikatuna village.

You can see his AI performance at http://joelleoh.multiply.com/video/item/13

For his PDI interview go to http://showbizandstyle.inquirer.net/entertainment/entertainment/view/20080127-115063/Renaldo-Lapuz-unplugged.

I am your sister... we are sisters til the end of time... =)

Re. Rent... wish I could I say I made the background changes but nope...another very talented Renthead did.

I'm currently on Rent nostalgia mode... mourning its impending death on Broadway. =(
