"Natives often take for granted the icons in their midst, living as we do with them. "
F Sionil Jose - Conference on "Literatures in Englishes," National University of Singapore

Yesterday was a day to rediscover the literary icons in our midst... to "see" the cities of Pasay, Manila and Quezon City through their works.

Thank you to the National Book Development Board and the Filipinas Heritage Library. It was a great experience which should be repeated. =)
