for everyone
It's so easy to dismiss Sex and the City as just another chick flick,  full of style and no substance.  That is, until you realize that when you scrape off the makeup,  ditch the Manolos and skip the Cosmopolitans,  you encounter the poignant story of a girl standing there,  waiting for a boy,  asking him to love her.

We all need a little tenderness
How can love survive in such a graceless age?
The trust and self-assurance that lead to happiness
Theyre the very things - we kill I guess
Pride and competition
Cannot fill these empty arms
And the work I put between us
You know it doesnt keep me warm
-- The Heart of the Matter
Originally by Don Henley
covered by India Arie for the SATC soundtrack

So does that mean Miles will watch it with you? I don't know if I'll be able to convince him. :P

I admit I didnt get the series. I mean here are four beautiful, successful women and yet their lives revolved around having a man. LOL my feminist side was going crazy but watching the trailer for the movie I want to watch it and good thing Ate Mickay has set a date with us to go watch this.

You cant bribe Kuya? LOL

Umm, I'm sorry... what's City of Gold?

You know, it's one thing to ask a guy to watch a chick flick with you, but it's completely another thing to ask him to watch a two and a half hour, censored chick flick with you. Way too long, and the only parts that would've redeemed it for us are GONE! LOL
